Practise music video with screengrabs

Music video edited by me and Tom.B:

For this task we had to get into a group, and I got into a group of three which included Sven Tom.B and myself. There were four different songs to choose from and we decided to choose 'Malice'. We had to shoot atleast four different angles of the complete song for each angle. In the filming i was on the drums, Sven was on the guitar and Tom was miming the song. To make sure everything was in place for when we had to do the lip synching in the editing we had the song playing in the background. We did lots of different shots which I think worked really well when we finished editing. When we had got all of the film which we needed we went on to final cut and started to edit our music video. For each part that we wanted to use we had to put markers on a place in the song, and find that particular part in our filming. I think that the lip synching worked very well. From this task I have learnt how to use markers properly so that I can do lip synching properly. Our peers have said that the footage is very good and that they can imagine an actual band doing similar footage, but they think that we should have put cut more shots into it.

Screengrabs of work in progress:

Here are some screenshots of mine and Toms editing in progress.
