Final Digipak screengrabs

Here is my final digipak and poster design:

Above are my final designs for my digipak and poster. I am very pleased with my designs and I like the fact that all of my groups digipak's and posters are very different to one another. the top design is the front and back of my CD. On both sides I have put a watercolour effect on them and I think that they have turned out very well. I like how Yasmins face comes from the right side into the foreground with the background as the sky and trees. I took the field picture on long road field. The text comes from "www.dafont.com" and the text which I used is called 'Bleeding Cowboys'. I have my barcode on the right side of the back picture and originally the barcode had a white background to it, but I found a way to take it out so that you can see through it. I have the album tracks on the back as well. I chose a green text because I thought it looked more interesting than any other colour.

Underneath i have the inside of my digipak. I have gone for the classic simple design with no fold outs on it. I have put on the left picture that there is a dvd on the same CD as the music. The background pictures are of trees and me and my group took them in long road woods. In these pictures I have put an artistic water colour effect and I have also made them brighter. On the right picture I have added the CD. I have explained how to create the Cd in another post. As I saved my draft design as a JPEG, I couldn't change the layers and there was the writing from my draft on the CD. To get rid of this writing to get the writing I have on it now I had to use the stamp tool, which if you hold down ALT, it copies what you want it to copy. So where the writing was I copied other parts of the picture and pasted over it.

The last picture is my poster and on my poster I have added a cutout effect and have changed the brightness and contrast on it. The text is still the same but on some parts I have used a red colour for variety and to make the release date and rating stand out. I have also put four stars on the design in a yellow colour to make it look bright. The album name is down the side of the poster and the band name goes diagonally across the top. I have also put the digipak back, front, and inside in small on the poster, so that when the fans see this they will know what the layout is going to be like.
